Niantic has unveiled that Shroodle and its evolved form, Grafaiai, will make their much-anticipated debut in Pokemon GO during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. This exciting event is set to kick off on January 15, 2025, and promises a host of new features and bonuses for players to enjoy.
Shroodle, a unique Poison/Normal-type Pokemon from the latest games, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, is characterized by its large head and eyes that dominate its small body. At level 28, Shroodle evolves into Grafaiai, a lemur-like primate with distinctive large eyes and three-fingered hands. Both creatures have also made cameo appearances in the Pokemon Horizons series, adding to their allure.
During the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, which runs from January 15 at 12 am to January 19 at 8 pm local time, players can encounter Shroodle by hatching 12 km eggs. Evolving Shroodle into Grafaiai will require 50 Shroodle Candy. The event will also see an increased presence of Team GO Rocket at PokeStops and in balloons, offering players the chance to help Shadow Pokemon forget the Charged Attack Frustration using a Charged TM. Additionally, snapping a photo during the event could lead to an encounter with a fashionably dressed Croagunk.
