Patriot and The Leader Join Murderworld in Marvel Contest of Champions

The excitement in *Marvel Contest of Champions* is ramping up with the launch of the thrilling Murderworld event, running until August 7th. This event isn't just a temporary thrill; it's packed with updates like the X-Magica Showcase and the Spring of Sorrow Gauntlet, along with essential bug fixes and balance tweaks to keep the gameplay smooth and engaging.

What Murderworld Brings to Marvel Contest of Champions

Arcade, the notorious mastermind behind deadly amusement parks, has introduced his latest creation to The Contest. These Murderworlds are not your typical theme parks; they're designed to be both entertaining and deadly. Arcade's goal? To rack up a high score by taking down as many Champions as possible. It's up to the heroes and villains to outsmart Arcade's sinister games or unite to dismantle his lethal carnival.

Introducing the New Characters

Amidst the chaos, THE RAFT, the Battlerealm's top prison, is on lockdown due to a dangerous surge of Gamma Radiation. As a Summoner, you step in to assist and meet Patriot, who's in the thick of the trouble. Meanwhile, The Leader's gamma-enhanced mind control is turning friends and foes against each other.

Mark your calendars: Patriot, also known as Eli Bradley, arrives on July 18th, followed by The Leader on August 1st. Eli, the grandson of the original Super Soldiers, carries a legacy as a co-founder of the Young Avengers under the alias Patriot. On the other hand, The Leader, aka Samuel Sterns, transformed from a high school dropout into a super genius after a gamma explosion. Instead of using his intelligence for good, Sterns became The Leader, a cunning adversary to the Hulk.
