Not long ago, we covered the discontinuation of Aeos Coins in Pokémon Unite, sparking community speculation about the MOBA’s long-term direction. However, this change doesn’t signal a halt to competitive play. The Pokémon Company and Skyesports have officially announced the Pokémon Unite Asia Champions League 2026 – India Division, promising an even more intense season than last year.
This year’s India League boasts a $20,000 prize pool and features ten of the nation’s top organizations. The victors will earn the prestigious honor—and significant pressure—of representing India at the offline PUACL 2026 Finals in Japan. This global showdown is scheduled to take place at Yokohama’s Buntai Arena.
The roster of participating teams includes Autobotz, GodLike Esports, Marcos Gaming, Meta Ninza, Reckoning Esports, Revenant XSpark, S8UL, Team Tamilas, True Rippers, and WELT Esports. This lineup reads like a greatest-hits collection of Indian esports talent. With powerhouse organizations like S8UL and Revenant XSpark competing, the league already feels poised for a dramatic rematch season.

The tournament structure is straightforward yet thrilling: five Group Stage match days will run from late November through January. This leads into a King of the Hill playoff bracket on January 31st, where the top eight teams will battle for supremacy. Only one squad will secure their ticket to Yokohama. Last year’s champions, GodLike Esports, will undoubtedly aim to improve upon their group-stage exit at the 2025 Japan Finals.
All matches will be broadcast live on the official Pokémon Unite and Skyesports channels, making it easy for fans to follow the full season of well-paced MOBA drama during their evenings.
