While Pokémon TCG Pocket fans have endured a wait since the last expansion, the highly anticipated Wisdom of Sea and Sky arrives July 30th with exciting new Pokémon introductions and significant gameplay updates.

The expansion celebrates the Johto region, bringing beloved creatures from Pokémon Gold & Silver into the mix. Players can collect fan-favorite starters like Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile, along with legendary Pokémon Lugia and Ho-Oh.

Gameplay sees innovative changes including energy-free attack options for certain Pokémon, enabling fresh deck-building strategies. The expansion also introduces major improvements to the trading system that will transform card exchanges.

Embracing sea and sky

The expansion launch coincides with new trading features, including a Wishlist function that lets players showcase up to 20 desired cards (with 3 featured on profiles). The revamped system eliminates Trade Tokens while maintaining Shinedust requirements for premium card exchanges - which players can earn through gameplay achievements or duplicate cards. Remember to redeem existing Trade Tokens before July 30th when they expire.
