Roblox is reviving one of its most beloved traditions with a fresh twist. The iconic Egg Hunt, a fan-favorite event since 2008, returns rebranded as The Hatch, as announced by Team Roblox.

When Does The Hatch Launch in Roblox?

The event begins on July 2nd, 2025, and runs until July 12th, 2025, offering ten action-packed days of egg-hunting fun. Players are already buzzing with theories about what this year’s challenges might entail.

The Hatch's promotional artwork showcases diverse biomes, reminiscent of 2017’s Egg Hunt: The Lost Eggs. That edition featured themed zones with unique egg designs tied to each environment.

Previous Egg Hunts tested players' skills with hidden eggs requiring puzzle-solving, mini-game mastery, or perfect timing to collect.

The announcement itself matched the event’s grand return—starting mysteriously with emoji clues (🌍💧🔥🌪️⚡❤️⏳❄️💡⚫) on Roblox’s official X account last week.

On June 11th, Roblox ramped up excitement with a teaser video titled The Hatch across Instagram, Threads, X, and YouTube.
