Get ready for a dazzling update to Pokémon TCG Pocket as The Pokémon Company introduces Shiny Pokémon with the Shining Revelry expansion! This exciting addition is set to bring an extra layer of excitement and sparkle to your digital card collection.

When Are Shiny Pokémon Arriving in Pokémon TCG Pocket?

Mark your calendars for March 27th, 2025, because that's when the Shining Revelry expansion launches. This expansion brings over 110 new cards to the game, including Shiny versions of fan favorites like Charizard ex, Lucario ex, and Pachirisu. The new digital format enhances the experience by making these Shiny cards shimmer when you tilt them. Starting April 1st, you can also get your hands on a Shiny Charizard-themed display board and binder.

In addition to Shiny Pokémon, characters from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, including Pokémon and Trainers like Tatsugiri, Sprigatito, and Iono, will join the fray. From March 28th to April 27th, new ex Starter Deck missions will be available, offering you a chance to earn a deck ticket that can be exchanged for one of nine starter decks. Exciting news for competitive players: ranked matches are coming to Pokémon TCG Pocket! The inaugural season will start on March 28th and run until April 27th, featuring cards from the Shining Revelry expansion. You'll be matched with players of similar skill levels, ensuring a challenging and fair competition.
