*League of Legends* (*LoL*) often introduces exciting new minigames that keep the community engaged. The latest addition, the Demon’s Hand card game, has players eager to learn how to use Sigils to enhance their gameplay and progress through the minigame more effectively.
What Are Sigils in the Demon’s Hand in LoL?
In the Demon’s Hand, Sigils are small stones that provide players with various bonuses. You can equip up to six Sigils at once, each offering unique effects that can help you defeat opponents and advance in the game. These effects can either enhance your played hands or weaken your adversaries, aiding in minimizing health loss. Sigil effects are automatically triggered when you play a hand that activates them.

The arrangement of your Sigils in their designated box can be crucial, especially when facing different opponents. When navigating the map, you'll notice that each upcoming opponent may have a unique effect on the game. These effects often relate to your cards, such as negating the numerical value of a particular suit or reducing damage if you play fewer than a specified number of cards.
Some opponents also possess abilities that directly impact your Sigils. A common effect is that the first Sigil in your box becomes inactive, meaning the Sigil in the top slot won't function during that battle. To counter this, consider rearranging your Sigils before engaging in combat to ensure that the deactivated Sigil isn't one crucial to your strategy.

Acquiring Sigils in the Demon’s Hand is straightforward. They can be purchased at the Sigil Shop, which is marked by two coins on the map. Visiting these locations allows you to choose from three Sigils, varying in strength and cost. If the offered Sigils don't suit your needs or you're looking for better options, you can refresh the shop for one coin, giving you access to a new set of Sigils. Additionally, if your Sigil box is full and you want to make room for new acquisitions, you can sell unwanted Sigils at the shop.
Understanding Sigils and their strategic use in the Demon’s Hand can significantly enhance your gameplay in *LoL*. If card games aren't your cup of tea, keep an eye out for the upcoming April Fools skins to see what exciting new looks will be available on Summoner’s Rift.
