Snowbreak Abyssal Dawn Update Adds New Characters

Seasun Games has released the latest update for Snowbreak: Containment Zone today, titled Abyssal Dawn. This update introduces new characters and a wide array of events to explore. Here's everything you need to know to make the most of the new content.

Abyssal Dawn Arrives in Snowbreak: Containment Zone

Meet Nerida – Styx Envoy, a new assault rifle-wielding operative. Her Ultimate ability stands out by remaining active and dealing damage even when she's not on the field. Then there's Nita – Pulse, a shotgun specialist focused on thermal damage. Designed for tactical play, she introduces a formidable new QTE system.

Players can also discover fresh outfits for multiple characters. Nerida receives the Dawn’s Command set, while Nita dons the Sylvan Spirit attire. Additionally, Nita’s Grove of Secrets bundle includes an outfit, a weapon skin, and an interactive scene.

Katya – Dawnwing showcases a Classy Elegance look, and Bubu – The Geomancer steps in with the Vitality Checkup style. Fenny – Starshine arrives in Nitro Nova gear, and Yao – Winter Solstice gets the Tidy Marksmaid outfit—the latter serving as a compensation after her earlier swimsuit design was modified.

A Host of Events Await

Kicking off the events is Pulse Puzzle, available now as a permanent addition. By following clues and solving in-game puzzles tied to her background, players can unlock Nita early.

Then, starting April 28 and running until May 29, 2025, Emotional Purge debuts—marking the game’s first venture into 3D cover-based shooter mechanics, complete with cover vaulting and smooth motion effects.

Beginning May 1, Nita’s Invitation, another permanent event, allows you to obtain her fully upgraded Auctus Drive signature weapon and a fixed-talent logistics squad at no cost.
