Fans of the adult animated sitcom *Solar Opposites* will need to brace themselves for the end, as Hulu has officially announced that the show's upcoming sixth season will be its last. Set to premiere in the final three months of 2025, this news marks the conclusion of a series that has captured the hearts of many since its debut in 2020.

The announcement for Season 6 came in mid-2024, but it wasn't until now that it was revealed this would be the final installment. *Solar Opposites* follows the adventures of an alien family stranded on Earth after escaping their home planet's destruction. The series, created by Mike McMahan of *Star Trek: Lower Decks* fame and Justin Roiland, co-creator of *Rick & Morty*, has been a unique addition to Hulu's lineup.

In 2023, Justin Roiland faced significant controversy when he was charged with domestic violence, leading to his removal from the show. Although the charges were later dropped, Roiland did not return to *Solar Opposites*. The role of the lead voice actor was seamlessly filled by English actor Dan Stevens, ensuring the show could continue its run without missing a beat.
