To successfully romance Klara during the quest "Back in the Saddle," which starts shortly after "For Whom the Bell Tolls," follow these steps meticulously.

During the quest, you'll need to gather herbs for Klara: Marigold, Sage, and Poppy. These herbs are readily available in the surrounding area, and any you already have in your inventory will count towards the quest objective.
