Sony has confirmed that a State of Play showcase will take place tomorrow on June 4.

In a recent PlayStation Blog post, Tim Turi, content communications manager at Sony Interactive Entertainment, announced that fans can expect "news and updates on must-play games coming to PS5." He added: “The show highlights a selection of great games from creators across the globe.”

The event, lasting over 40 minutes, kicks off on June 4 at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 11pm CEST.

While details are scarce, it is highly probable that we will see more footage of Sucker Punch’s upcoming PS5 exclusive sequel, Ghost of Yotei, which is scheduled for release in October.

PlayWe might also get a look at Insomniac’s Wolverine title, or updates from other Sony development studios. This could include God of War creator Sony Santa Monica, Days Gone developer Bend Studio, and Guerrilla, the studio behind Horizon which is currently developing a multiplayer spin-off.

Sony-owned Bungie is also working on Marathon, though it remains unclear how much they will showcase following their recent art plagiarism controversy. Meanwhile, Fairgames—led by no one since Jade Raymond's departure—is still in development. Last month, Sony revealed a new studio called teamLFG and teased its debut game, described as a live-service incubation project.

We may also see titles from external developers signed to publish with Sony, such as Phantom Blade Zero.
