Author: Hazel Apr 20,2025

Sony has released new updates for both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, enhancing various features of these consoles to improve user experience.

For the PlayStation 5, the latest update, version 25.02-11.00.00, is a 1.3GB download that brings several enhancements. One of the key updates is the improved display of activity details on cards, making it easier for users to see information without revealing potential spoilers. Additionally, this update introduces support for Unicode 16.0 emojis, allowing gamers to express themselves more vividly in messages. There are also changes to parental controls; when set to "Late Teens or Older," the default setting for "Communication and User-Generated Content" is now "Restrict." However, if this level was previously set, the setting will remain as "Customize." As always, Sony has also focused on improving the system software's performance and stability, along with enhancing the messages and usability on certain screens.
