Spider-Woman Joins Marvel Contest Amid Eidol Menace

- Spider-Woman and Lumatrix debut as new playable characters - Spy Games storyline features Black Widow's mission - Thunderbolts-inspired event launching later this month

Following the Dark Phoenix storyline, Kabam has rolled out a fresh Marvel Contest of Champions update introducing two formidable new fighters. Spider-Woman brings her signature arachnid-enhanced combat skills when she joins the roster on April 17th. She's accompanied by Lumatrix, the first Eidol Champion of 2025, who made their explosive entrance on April 9th. This update also unlocks new quests, special events, and the continuation of Act 9.2 - all packed with valuable rewards.

Spider-Woman combines her spider-like abilities with elite spy training, while Lumatrix represents a dangerous new threat - a radiant assassin engineered by The Founders. Players can acquire Lumatrix by collecting Light Essence through Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions and Raids until June 4th.

The Spy Games quest (March 9th - May 7th) teams Black Widow with Spider-Woman to investigate the mysterious Eidols. This espionage-themed adventure reveals dangerous secrets behind Lumatrix's glowing facade.

The update brings additional limited-time events: - Red & Dead's Discount Shed (April 25th - May 2nd) offers exclusive rewards - Heart of Fire Sale (May 7th-14th) provides special champion acquisition opportunities

Later in April, the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event (April 18th - May 2nd) introduces Poolshields that can be redeemed during the Discount Shed event. Players should log in daily between April 25th and May 23rd to claim free bonus rewards.
