"Torchlight: Infinite Season 8: Sandlord Launches This Month"

Torchlight: Infinite's next chapter, Season 8: Sandlord, is set to launch on April 17th, promising a significant overhaul to the game. This season introduces a new gameplay experience with the Cloud Oasis, where players can engage in economic management. The floating cities in the skies are not just for show; they're where you'll build your aerial empire, trading resources, managing workers, and optimizing production lines.

Returning with a new twist is Thea, now featuring the Blasphemer trait. She trades her divine abilities for a curse called Desecration, which starts off weak but can scale powerfully. The curse enhances Erosion damage inversely to her remaining blessing power, offering exciting build possibilities for those who enjoy damage-over-time and synergistic gameplay.

The endgame content in Torchlight: Infinite is also receiving a major update. Deep Space has been completely revamped, featuring five new stages, expanded maps, and more challenging enemies. Players can now adjust the level of risk and reward with the new Probes system, which can potentially yield better loot, including Compass chests through the Compass Probe.

Season 8 introduces a Blending System for belt crafting, enabling players to combine Hero Traits, Talent nodes, and unique affixes into a single item slot, offering deeper customization and build options. A new boss, Night Slayer – The Wilting Plume, has been added to the Plane Watcher and the 20th floor of Supreme Showdown, adding to the game's challenges.

To celebrate the season's launch, Torchlight: Infinite is hosting the Sands of Fortune anniversary event from April 17th to May 1st. Players can complete tasks, earn Gold Rush Attempts, and compete for a share of a $250,000 prize pool.
