Still completing your card collection from the Celestial Guardians Expansion in Pokémon TCG Pocket, which launched just three weeks ago? Get ready—another expansion is already on its way. Titled Extradimensional Crisis, it arrives on May 29 and brings the bizarre Ultra Beasts and the enigmatic fusion Pokémon Type: Null.
Extradimensional Crisis introduces the Ultra Beasts, strange alien-like creatures that played a major role in Pokémon Sun and Moon as beings from another dimension. Confirmed cards include Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego, and Guzzlord ex. This expansion also adds more Alola Pokémon to those already featured in Celestial Guardians, along with Type: Null—suggesting its evolution, Silvally, is likely included as well.
With a new expansion come fresh cosmetic items: an Ultra Beast-themed binder cover will be available for shop tickets starting May 29, and a floral display board can be purchased with event tickets during the upcoming Wonder Pick event beginning June 11.
Pokémon TCG Pocket has maintained a steady pace of expansion releases since its debut last year. Though Extradimensional Crisis is considered a minor booster set—featuring only one type of booster pack instead of multiple—it follows closely after previous releases. This marks the seventh expansion overall and the fourth smaller set alongside Mythical Island, Triumphant Light, and Shining Revelry. So far, no expansions have been rotated out, and all remain available in the game... for the time being.
