The Terminator event in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 introduces a game-changing Full Auto mod for the AEK-973, transforming this underperforming weapon into a viable option. This guide details how to unlock this attachment in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

The Full Auto mod is a limited-time reward within the Black Ops 6 Season 2 Terminator event, available until February 20th. Post-event, it's anticipated to become available through the Armory Unlocks system.

Unlocking the mod requires collecting 50 Skulls. Skulls are earned by eliminating enemies in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and Zombies modes, or by opening loot caches in Warzone.

The most efficient Skull farming methods include:

• Zombies: Playing Zombies with the Rampage Inducer, reaching Round 6, then exiting the game to repeat the process.
• Warzone Resurgence Solos: Focusing on rapidly opening loot caches across the map.

Once you've accumulated 50 Skulls, redeem them for the Full Auto mod via the event tab.

How the Full Auto Mod Works:

This conversion attachment, equipped in the Gunsmith's Fire Mods slot, transforms the AEK-973 from burst-fire to full-auto, utilizing 5.45 ammunition at a high rate of fire. Pairing it with the 5.45 Extended Mag increases the magazine capacity to 45 rounds.

While the Full Auto mod reduces the AEK-973's damage and range, its rapid fire rate maintains a competitive time-to-kill. However, it doesn't affect handling or mobility, which remain slow due to the weapon's marksman rifle classification. Consider using attachments to improve these stats or utilize the weapon at medium-to-long ranges.
