Dead Sails Kraken Boss Guide
Your journey begins in the heart of town, across from the Gun Store and Hospital and in front of the Trading Hut. Start by offloading any excess loot and arming yourself. I recommend picking up a Rifle—it's only $75 and packs enough punch to keep most enemies at bay, at least temporarily. Don't forget to stock up on coal to fuel your boat's old-school engine.

The next town is 10,000m away. Simply kickstart your boat and set sail. While you can stop to take out Zombies and Drowned for loot, it's not always worth it, as the houses along the route don't offer much value. To restart your ship, just add more coal. Don't let the worm on the right side scare you. Wait until you reach the second safe zone to sell your loot, but be cautious of Big Foot and Zombie mobs on both riverbanks.

After the second safe zone, you'll encounter burning buildings teeming with mobs. It's best to clear them with friends, as the spawn points are scattered. At around 12,000m, you'll find a castle-like house filled with Drowned but also valuable loot like Shotgun ammo. Use your resources wisely here.

Dead Sails Kraken Tips And Tricks
The core gameplay loop is straightforward: kill, loot, repeat, and hope the enemy suffers defeat. To excel, use your boat as your main inventory. Empty your bag onto it to save time and space.

Efficiency is key. Stacking Zombies near the incinerator can help if you're short on fuel—just toss a few in and you're set.

Keep an eye on Sheriff's offices, where you'll often find a higher concentration of mobs, but also rewarding loot like weapons and ammo. I kept my shotgun stocked by having a friend clear the ground floor during our town sweeps.

Save your ammo, weapons, fuel, and medkits for the fortress at 25,000m. It's under construction, making it a hotspot for ambushes. Bring at least three friends, ideally five, and be efficient with your loot collection.

Avoid engaging Big Feet after 30,000m—they're tough and ammo-intensive. Plan your stops carefully; loot isn't everything.
The town after 50,000m is a prime farming spot with dozens of Drowned and Zombies. It's an efficient way to gather corpses for fuel, so coordinate with your team to prepare bodies for loading quickly.

In the final safe zone, sell all your loot and stock up on ammo, weapons, and medkits. Don't go easy on the Zombies and Drowned; you'll need a stash of 8-10 corpses for fuel during the final stretch. At around 100,000m, you'll reach open waters and be ready to face the Kraken. The sign of its approach is the skies darkening.

When the Kraken emerges, everyone must pick a tentacle to attack. The boss has substantial health, and each tentacle can cause damage if not repelled. With five players, form a pentagram-like shape and focus on your assigned tentacle.

Watch out for the water splash ability, which deals AoE damage. It's telegraphed by the Kraken winding back and creating a water trail with its tentacle. Use medkits liberally, as some damage is unavoidable.

Lastly, be cautious of the Roar AoE, which causes minor, unblockable damage and may slightly buff the boss's damage. You'll see it as white concentric circles emanating from the tentacle.

As you can see, defeating the Kraken is challenging but manageable with the right strategy. That concludes my Dead Sails Kraken Guide. To speed up your progress even further, consider using one of our Dead Sails codes. Good luck, and may your sails be ever smooth!
