Pokémon Go Season Finale Adds Urshifu and Gigantamax Machamp

• This season is drawing to a spectacular close.
• Go Battle Week runs from May 21 to 27.
• Gigantamax Max Battle Day arrives on May 25.

The Might and Mastery season concludes with "The Final Strike: Go Battle Week," a major finale featuring the debut of Urshifu and Gigantamax Machamp. From May 21 to 27, this event offers one last push toward dominance, rewarding your dedication with new Pokémon encounters, exclusive evolutions, and valuable bonuses.

Your Kubfu can now evolve into Urshifu, requiring 200 Kubfu Candy and a specific challenge. To earn the Single Strike or Rapid Strike form, have Kubfu as your Buddy and defeat 30 Dark-type or 30 Water-type Pokémon in raids or Max Battles. The choice of style is yours.

The free event Special Research continues the Might and Mastery story, providing additional Kubfu Candy, Mysterious Components, and special encounters like Charcadet with a unique background. It also allows you to evolve classic battlers like Mankey, Seel, and Froakie, granting them exclusive moves.

For premium content, several options are available. The $1.99 Timed Research includes two Premium Battle Passes, Lucky Eggs, and event-themed Pokémon. The $7.99 Fuzzy Fighter Special Research offers a reunion with Dynamax Kubfu, plus extra items and season-themed encounters. Both are available through the event's end, alongside the Fuzzy Fighter Ultra Ticket Box in the Pokémon Go Web Store.

The excitement peaks on Sunday, May 25, with the debut of Gigantamax Machamp in six-star raids. From 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. local time, every Power Spot will host Gigantamax Battles with increased Max Particle rewards and a higher collection limit. Don't forget to redeem these Pokémon Go codes for extra free items.

A $4.99 ticket for Max Battle Day unlocks exclusive Timed Research, rewarding 25,000 XP, a Max Mushroom, and significant battle bonuses. Pre-event Timed Research will also guide you toward obtaining a Dynamax Beldum, a powerful counter for the upcoming Machamp raids.
