The developer's recent devstream revealed several key updates. These include an upcoming anime short for Warframe: 1999, produced in collaboration with The Line studio, and continued expansion of their ongoing ARG featuring the fictional boy band On-Lyne (the entire ARG has even been officially documented by Digital Extremes).

Further details on Warframe: 1999 were also shared, including the new Faceoff PvPvE multiplayer mode, the welcome return of voice actor Neil Newborn (Baldur's Gate 3), romantic subplots involving the Hex members in 1999, and more information about the 59th Warframe, Cyte-09.
