WoW: Patch 11.1 Expands Areas

World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, "Undermined," expands beyond its namesake zone, adding several exciting new sub-regions. This expansion introduces players to a subterranean Goblin metropolis and two intriguing new areas.

Key additions in Patch 11.1 include:

  • Undermine: The central focus, a sprawling underground Goblin city brimming with towering structures, narrow streets, and inventive contraptions.

  • Gutterville: A subzone nestled in the Ringing Deeps' southeastern corner. Its maroon hue suggests a corruption by Black Blood, and it's expected to house Excavation Site 9, one of the patch's new Delves. It likely serves as an entry point to Undermine.

  • Kaja’Coast: A new Goblin encampment situated on Zuldazar's southwestern coast, near Bilgewater Bonanza. This location, potentially linked to Undermine via a tram system, adds another access point to the underground city.

Exploring the New Locations:

The recently revealed Undermine map showcases Slam Central Station as the zone's main arrival point. This station features five terminals, hinting at additional, currently unknown locations receiving Goblin-themed updates. Gutterville and Kaja’Coast represent two of these access points.

While the official release date remains unannounced, estimates point towards a mid-to-late February launch. However, players can anticipate early January access to these new areas via the Public Test Realm (PTR). Get ready to explore the depths of Undermine and its connected regions!
