  • Wuthering Waves marks its first anniversary with global celebrations.
  • Last month, fans worldwide gathered for exclusive in-person events.
  • Activities included cosplay contests, live soundtrack performances, and even a buffet.

One year after launch, Kuro Games is naturally celebrating the success of its action RPG, Wuthering Waves. But instead of confining the festivities to the game, they brought the party into the real world with a series of global fan events held over the past month.

From Japan to China, and even a North American event in Los Angeles, Rovers enjoyed a packed schedule. Highlights included a cosplay competition and a live performance of the Wuthering Waves soundtrack.

Attendees were also treated to a buffet. For those feeling a bit envious, don't worry—there's plenty more to anticipate. Version 2.4 of Wuthering Waves is approaching fast, with a recent livestream unveiling all the new details.

Titled "Lightly We Toss the Crown," Version 2.4 is shaping up to be a compelling update. Players can look forward to recruiting two new major Resonators, Cartethyia and Lupa, and exploring new story chapters in the region of Septimont.

In a genre dominated by major titles, it's worth noting when a game distinguishes itself. While Kuro Games faces stiff competition from genre leaders like MiHoYo, fans clearly appreciate Wuthering Waves as a fun and engaging alternative.
