HoYoverse has just unveiled the exciting details for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6, titled 'Among the Forgotten Ruins,' set to launch on March 12th. This update promises to shake things up in New Eridu with a rich narrative and new characters that will deepen the game's immersive experience.

What’s Happening in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6?

In this latest chapter, Proxies find themselves embroiled in a high-stakes auction orchestrated by the Mayor, who has them scrambling to secure a mysterious artefact tied to the Sacrifice. However, the phantom thief syndicate, Mockingbird, is determined to throw a wrench in the Mayor's plans. Other factions are also in the mix, each with their own agenda, making the quest for the artefact even more challenging. Amidst this chaos, characters Hugo and Vivian exhibit suspicious behavior, leaving players to ponder their true allegiances. Dive into the action with the trailer below.

Version 1.6 introduces a new unit, Anby Demara, who transitions from her former role as Soldier 0 and leader of Silver Squad to an S-Rank Electric Attack Agent. Wielding dual swords, she's set to electrify the battlefield with her powerful attacks. Joining her is Trigger, an ace sniper from Obol Squad, stepping in as an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent. Trigger's ability to enter Sniper Mode allows her to dodge attacks and deliver precise shots, enhancing team synergy with Quick Assists.

Some Are Making a Comeback

Returning characters include Pulchra Fellini, an A-Rank Physical Stun Agent from the Sons of Calydon, alongside S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent Burnice and S-Rank Ether Attack Agent Zhuyuan, who will have their banners rerun. Additionally, a new boss, Geppetto, will challenge players in Hollow Zero.

The update also introduces Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge, pushing players to their limits. A new gameplay mode, Shadow Operation, adds dynamic effects to each battle stage, such as boosting damage based on accumulated coins. Trigger's TV Schedule brings third-person sniper gameplay, allowing players to engage in authentic sniper missions. Meanwhile, 'March On, Tiny Titan!' and 'Little Knight's Big Charge' offer unique challenges with Bangboo drones, with the latter providing rewards like Pulchra as a playable agent.
