Stenciletto: A Geometric Puzzle Challenge for All Ages

Stenciletto is a progressively challenging puzzle game that sharpens visual and spatial reasoning skills. Using simple geometric shapes, players arrange stencils to recreate patterns, engaging critical thinking, logic, planning, and problem-solving simultaneously. While deceptively simple, the game offers a surprisingly robust cognitive workout. The core gameplay involves selecting and tapping geometric stencils in the correct sequence.

Developed over a decade by an experienced educator with input from diverse groups—children, teenagers, adults, and individuals with learning disabilities and brain injuries—Stenciletto proves both rewarding and motivating across age ranges and abilities. The latest version introduces Education Mode, ideal for classroom or home-schooling environments, providing controlled access to content, internet, Game Center, and sharing features, and is compatible with Family Sharing.

Inspired by Grace Arthur's early 20th-century Stencil Design IQ Test, the game recognizes the importance of non-verbal intelligence. Arthur, a psychologist, used the test to effectively measure the IQ of children who performed poorly on verbal tests, demonstrating its value in assessing cognitive abilities across diverse populations.

Stenciletto offers two game types: Classic Games, featuring familiar shapes like squares, circles, and triangles, and World Games, designed for advanced players seeking a greater challenge. With over 600 graded puzzles (60 free puzzles included), each paid game contains 15 puzzles. Completing Classic Games earns players animated Smiley avatars based on historical and mythological figures, celebrating achievement and diverse cultures.

Choose your preferred play style:

• Mortal Mode: A timed, scored mode with leaderboards; lives can be purchased or regenerated.
• Immortal Mode: Unlimited lives; timed and scored with separate leaderboards.
• Mindful Mode: Untimed and unscored, allowing relaxed, focused play.
• Education Mode: Unlocks both Immortal and Mindful Modes (Mortal Mode can be disabled).
