Alolan Mon Joins Pokémon TCG Pocket in Celestial Guardians

The eagerly awaited Celestial Guardians expansion arrives globally in Pokémon TCG Pocket on April 30, 2025. Players will explore the Alola region, wandering beneath its celestial wonders from sunlit beaches to moonlit landscapes.

What's Coming in Pokémon TCG Pocket Celestial Guardians?

Celestial Guardians introduces two new digital booster packs featuring legendary Pokémon Solgaleo and Lunala. Trainer Lillie makes her appearance alongside other memorable characters from the Alola era.

This expansion marks a major collector's milestone with over 200 new cards, including powerful Pokémon ex versions of Solgaleo and Lunala. Alola's starter Pokémon—Rowlet, Litten and Popplio—finally debut in Pocket format.

Starting May 1, players can showcase their collections with exclusive Rowlet-themed binder covers and display boards. Get your first look at the Celestial Guardians expansion below:

Expansion Events and Rewards

Special solo battles running from April 30 (06:00 UTC) through May 13 (05:59 UTC) offer chances to earn promo cards including the mighty Rayquaza ex.

Concurrent special missions (through May 29 at 05:59 UTC) provide opportunities to collect alternate Rayquaza ex versions plus cosmetic rewards.

The Pokémon TCG Pocket Half-Year Celebration begins April 29 at 11:00 PM PDT, coinciding with the expansion launch window.

Promo Pack A Series Vol. 7 will be available through solo battles until May 12, featuring Rayquaza ex headlines. Special missions continue through May 28.
