Botany Manor Announces New PS5 Release Date

Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Set for January 28th

Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the critically acclaimed puzzler Botany Manor will now arrive on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on January 28th, 2025. The delay, announced by publisher Whitethorn Games, aimed to ensure a polished and optimal player experience.

Developed by Balloon Studios, Botany Manor charmed players on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC upon its April 2024 launch. The game, lauded as one of the best puzzle games of 2024, tasks players with cultivating magical plants in the idyllic English countryside.

While a January 28th launch date is confirmed, a PlayStation Store page remains absent. Pricing is expected to mirror other platforms at $24.99, a one-time purchase without microtransactions. The digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store.

Enhancing PlayStation's Puzzle Lineup

Botany Manor's strong critical reception (an 83/100 average on OpenCritic and a 92% recommendation rate) positions it perfectly to enrich the PlayStation puzzle game library. Its blend of calming atmosphere, inventive puzzles, and engaging exploration has resonated strongly with reviewers.

With its PlayStation release, Botany Manor will be available on all initially planned platforms. Balloon Studios' next project remains unannounced. January 28th also marks the PlayStation Store debuts of Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness.
