Treyarch is developing a much-requested feature for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6: in-game challenge tracking. This functionality, present in 2023's Modern Warfare 3, was notably absent from Black Ops 6 at launch, much to the dismay of players.
While no release date has been announced, the feature is "currently in the works," according to a Treyarch Twitter response. The upcoming Season 2 update, slated for later this month, is a likely candidate for its inclusion. This update will be significant for players striving for Mastery camos, as the challenge tracker will provide real-time progress updates within the game's UI, eliminating the need to check progress after each match.
The recent January 9th patch included various bug fixes for multiplayer and zombies modes, notably reverting controversial changes to Zombies' Directed Mode following community feedback. However, the challenge tracking feature was not part of this patch.
Beyond challenge tracking, Treyarch confirmed another highly sought-after feature is under development: separate HUD settings for Multiplayer and Zombies. This will allow players to customize their HUD for each mode without needing to constantly switch settings. Both features highlight Treyarch's commitment to addressing player feedback and enhancing the overall Black Ops 6 experience.
