The team is meticulously recreating the Edo period setting of Kyoto, incorporating historically accurate locations. The ultimate goal? Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta 2 – Arkveld Awaits

The second *Monster Hunter Wilds* Open Beta is almost upon us, boasting significant upgrades from the first. The highlight? A challenging advanced quest featuring the flagship monster, Arkveld. Also included are a Gypceros Hunt, an explorable training area, and new online features: Private Lobbies (for friends-only gameplay) and Online Single Player (allowing solo play with optional S.O.S. Flare multiplayer assistance). Data from the first beta will transfer, and returning elements include the Character Creator, Story Trial, and the Doshaguma hunt. Participants will earn a special Pendant.

The Open Beta will run with cross-play during these times:

Character data will transfer to the full game (February 28th release), but game progression will not carry over.
