Castle Duels: Tower Defense has just dropped its highly anticipated 3.0 update, making the game officially available worldwide after a successful soft launch in select regions this June. This update introduces exciting new features, challenges, and adventures.
What's New in Castle Duels: Tower Defense 3.0?
One of the biggest additions is the introduction of clans, finally giving players the opportunity to team up and strategize together. This opens up a world of possibilities, allowing for unit trading, clan-wide reward distribution, and access to a dedicated clan store.
For those who thrive in PvP combat, training battles provide a perfect platform to hone skills before tackling tougher opponents. Clan creation and joining are unlocked upon reaching Arena 2.
Another exciting addition is the Clan Tournament. Teams of five compete to complete daily quests the fastest, vying for top prizes. This tournament is open to players who have reached Arena 5.
Unit Tweaks and Name Changes
Several units have received significant adjustments, including name changes and role revisions. Raphael is now known as Angel, Knight of Light is now Risen, and Forestlord is now Woodbeard. Angel's role has been revamped from damage boosting to health restoration. Riding Hood has been transformed into a long-range damage dealer.
The Golem's ability range has been reduced to better suit its melee warrior role, while the Fighter has transitioned to a defense role, gaining a new ability to repel opponents and reduce their damage.
Visually, several units have received updates to enhance their appearance, especially as they progress through merge ranks. These include the Pirate, Alchemist, Poison Frog, Combat Engineer, and Vampire.
