Get ready, Pokémon Go trainers! February's Community Day is bringing a double feature with Karrablast and Shelmet taking center stage. The event runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time on February 9th, 2025.

Featured Pokémon:

Increased wild spawns of Karrablast and Shelmet mean increased catching opportunities, and you'll have a boosted chance of encountering their Shiny forms! The real excitement lies in their evolutions. Evolving Karrablast (until February 16th, 10:00 p.m. local time) yields an Escavalier knowing the powerful Charged Attack, Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 power in Gyms and Raids). Similarly, evolving Shelmet during this period grants an Accelgor with the Charged Attack, Energy Ball (a hefty 90 power in all battle types).

Special Research and Timed Research:

Participate in the Special Research for encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, plus a Premium Battle Pass and a Rare Candy XL. A week-long Timed Research event follows Community Day, unlocking further encounters with these Pokémon and their special backgrounds upon login.
