What To Use Old Coins For In Dynasty Warriors: Origins

Old Coins are unusable in Chapter 1; focus on the main storyline. After starting Chapter 2, complete these main story battles:

• Suppression of You Province
• Suppression of Jing Province
• Suppression of Liang Province

Completing these battles leads you back to Ji, where you meet Sima Hui. After conversing with him and obtaining incense for the Innkeeper, the Shui Jing Retreat unlocks on the overworld map near Ji.
