How To Get Costume Minccino in Pokemon GO

The Pokémon GO Fashion Week event is back, featuring returning costumed Pokémon and a new addition: the stylish Minccino and Cinccino!

When to Catch Costumed Minccino:

The Fashion Week 2025 event, running from January 10th to 19th, 2025, marks the debut of costumed Minccino and Cinccino, sporting rhinestone glasses and adorable bows. Shiny Costume Minccino is available, but a shiny Costume Cinccino is not. Other costumed Pokémon returning for the event include Butterfree, Dragonite, Diglett, Blitzle, Kirlia, Shinx, and various Furfrou forms.

How to Acquire Costumed Minccino:

Unlike previous events, obtaining the costumed Minccino is limited to two methods:

One-Star Raids:

Costume Minccino will appear in One-Star Raids throughout the event. These raids are typically soloable, providing an accessible way to catch one. However, Costume Shinx and Furfrou will also be in One-Star Raids, so you might need to check multiple Gyms.

Paid Timed Research:

A $5 USD (or equivalent) Paid Timed Research ticket offers guaranteed encounters with Costume Minccino, alongside XP, Stardust, and a new avatar pose. This is the most reliable method for securing this Pokémon.

Field Research Tasks:

While event-themed Pokémon encounters are available through Field Research Tasks, Niantic's blog doesn't specify which Pokémon are included. The possibility of finding Minccino exists, but it's less certain than the Raid or Paid Research options.

Obtaining Costumed Cinccino:

To get a Costumed Cinccino, evolve your Costumed Minccino using 50 candies and a Unova Stone.
