Crashlands 2 enthusiasts, rejoice! Butterscotch Shenanigans has just unleashed a significant update today, rolling out version 1.1 with a host of new features and enhancements that fans of the original Crashlands have been eagerly anticipating.
What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
Introducing the new Legend Mode, which ups the ante with difficulty levels surpassing even the Challenge Mode. Prepare to face tougher adversaries on Woanope, where enemies move faster, pack a bigger punch, and boast beefier HP bars. Meanwhile, Flux Dabes is more vulnerable than ever before. Completing Legend Mode won't unlock extra achievements, but you'll automatically earn all the achievements from lower difficulties as a sweet reward.
On the other end of the spectrum, Explorer Mode caters to players who prefer a more relaxed pace. This mode allows you to focus on farming mushrooms, building a cozy home, and catching fish, all while minimizing combat. It's the perfect way to immerse yourself in the game's story, decorate your base, and enjoy the quirky characters of Crashlands 2.
A major highlight of the update is the return of The Compendium. Following player feedback, the developers have reintroduced this feature, which meticulously tracks everything Flux discovers. From pets and recipes to items you need to find to reach your goals, The Compendium keeps you informed and engaged.
Pets also got a bit of an upgrade
With Update 1.1, pets in Crashlands 2 are more than just companions; they now actively participate in battles. Each pet comes equipped with a unique ability that you can activate every 20 seconds, adding a new strategic layer to your gameplay.
Gear crafting has also seen an exciting overhaul, introducing random bonus stats when creating armor. The update brings a plethora of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets to the table, giving you more options to customize your gear.
Quality of life improvements are sprinkled throughout Update 1.1. You can now build on a broader range of terrains, customize the location of your home teleporter, and even adjust the night-time darkness to your preference.
You can grab Crashlands 2 from the Google Play Store. Keep in mind, it was launched on April 10th, and this patch is a testament to Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to responding to player feedback.
