How To Become & Defeat Godzilla in Fortnite Chapter 6

Conquer the King of the Monsters in Fortnite! Godzilla is stomping onto the Battle Royale Island, offering one lucky player per match the chance to become the iconic kaiju. This guide details how to become Godzilla and how to defeat him.

Becoming Godzilla:

Starting January 17th, 2025, a rift will randomly appear on the island in each match. Be the first to find and enter this rift to transform into Godzilla!

Find a portal ➡️ become Godzilla!

Once transformed, unleash Godzilla's devastating abilities: the Roar (locates nearby players), the Mighty Stomp Attack (sends players flying), and the powerful Heat Ray. However, be warned – the entire lobby will be hunting you!

Defeating Godzilla:

For the 99 players who don't become Godzilla, the challenge is on! Epic Games has strategically placed weak points on Godzilla. Focus your fire on these areas to trigger the drop of Godzilla Fragments, providing 40 health and three dash charges. Mobility is key!

The Rail Gun makes a comeback for this event, offering high damage output. Higher-rarity weapons are also effective. The player who inflicts the most damage on Godzilla earns the Godzilla Medallion (with a dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher – a fantastic consolation prize!
