Disney Pixel RPG is an upcoming retro-inspired title from the creators of Teppen

GungHo Entertainment, creators of the crossover card battler Teppen, are diving into a new adventure with Disney! Their upcoming title, Disney Pixel RPG, is a retro-inspired role-playing game featuring a massive roster of pixel art Disney characters.

Expected to launch later this year, Disney Pixel RPG promises a diverse gameplay experience. Players will recruit and battle with iconic Disney characters across multiple worlds, facing challenges that blend battle, action, and rhythm elements.

Create and customize your own unique character to fight alongside your favorite Disney heroes. While the game features auto-battling, players will have opportunities to take direct control during key moments. The story revolves around combating mysterious programs threatening the pixelated Disney worlds.

A Massive Crossover

This isn't GungHo's first foray into large-scale franchise crossovers. Given Disney's extensive library of films and franchises, Disney Pixel RPG has access to an incredibly vast pool of potential characters. And if any developer is equipped to handle such a large cast, it's GungHo.
