Farlight 84 Expands Pet Universe in 'Hi, Buddy!'

Farlight 84's "Hi, Buddy!" expansion arrives today, introducing exciting new features. The core addition is the Buddy System, featuring adorable pets that offer in-game assistance.

Adorable Buddies, Powerful Abilities:

The Buddy System introduces two types of companions: Common and Archon Buddies. Common Buddies, easily acquired, provide helpful abilities. Archon Buddies are rarer and boast significantly more powerful effects. Buddies are obtained using Buddy Orbs, found scattered across the map, and capable of holding up to six tactical items.

Ten Buddies debut in this expansion: Common Buddies include Buzzy, Morphdrake, Petal Peeper, Smokey, Snatchpaw, Squeaky, Sparky, and Zephy. Archon Buddies are the Time Dominator (capable of manipulating the Safe Zone) and the Storm Empress (who summons powerful tornadoes).

Map Revamps and New Systems:

The Sunder Realms map receives a significant overhaul, including new terrain, structures, and landmarks like ramps, enhanced buildings, giant duck statues, and floating boulders.

A new Tactical Core system allows players to enhance hero skills and unlock new abilities using Trait points earned through leveling. Trait Activation Cards are required to maximize these abilities.

New events, the Buddy Showdown and Rare Consolidation Event, offer attractive rewards such as skins and loot boxes.
