Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 Launches February 21 – Includes Mortal Kombat Crossover

Epic Games has unveiled the exciting new Battle Pass skins for Fortnite's next season: Wanted. Forgoing the usual codename, this season dives headfirst into a thrilling heist theme, complete with gun-toting villains, gold-filled getaway vans, and explosive bank vaults.

Kicking off on February 21st, Wanted features a killer collaboration with the iconic Mortal Kombat franchise. Sub-Zero himself joins the Battle Pass, perfectly complementing the season's robbery-themed aesthetic. This collaboration cleverly ties into the upcoming Mortal Kombat 2 film, starring Karl Urban as Johnny Cage and Adeline Rudolph as Kitana.

Battle Pass skins will be available for purchase using V-Bucks, with each character priced at 1,500 V-Bucks—no price changes from previous seasons.

Returning favorites include the Flare Gun, C4, and the Diplomat turret. While other weapons remain a mystery, speculation is running wild. Given the previous heist-themed season (Chapter 4 Season 4), players anticipate the return of the EMP Grenade, classic SMGs, the Tommy Gun, and even the Grappler. However, these are currently just rumors.

A highly anticipated addition is Smart Building, a game-changer that predicts the structures you need based on your aiming direction. This season's heist theme also introduces a revamped gameplay mechanic, replacing keycards with vault breaches. Players will need Meltanite, Fortnite's equivalent of thermite, to crack open these vaults and claim their rewards.
