Fortnite is free-to-play, but its tempting array of skins might lead to some serious V-Buck spending. Keeping track of your expenditure is wise, so here’s how to see exactly how much you've invested in Fortnite.
How to Check Your Fortnite Spending
There are a couple of ways to monitor your Fortnite spending: directly through your Epic Games Store account or using a helpful third-party website. Understanding your spending habits is crucial to avoid any unwelcome surprises when reviewing your bank statements. Why? Because seemingly small purchases can quickly accumulate.
Think about this: a person once unknowingly spent nearly $800 on Candy Crush over three months, believing they’d only spent around $50. This highlights the importance of monitoring your in-game spending. Ready to check your Fortnite spending? Let's go.
Check Your Epic Games Store Account

All V-Buck purchases, regardless of platform or payment method, are recorded in your Epic Games Store account. To check your spending:
- Go to the Epic Games Store website and log in.
- Click your username in the top right corner.
- Select "Account," then "Transactions."
- On the "Purchase" tab, scroll through your transaction history, clicking "Show More" until you find all your V-Buck purchases. Note the V-Bucks amount and the corresponding currency amount for each transaction.
- Use a calculator to sum your total V-Bucks and total currency spent.
Important Considerations: Free Epic Games Store games will also appear in your transactions. V-Buck card redemptions may not display a dollar amount.
Use Fortnite.gg
As noted by Dot Esports, Fortnite.gg offers another method. While it doesn't automatically detect your purchases, you can manually input your acquired items:
- Go to Fortnite.gg and log in or create an account.
- Navigate to the "My Locker" section.
- Manually add each outfit and cosmetic item to your locker. You can search for items to make this easier.
- Your locker will then display the total V-Buck value of your cosmetics. Use a V-Buck to dollar converter (many are available online) to estimate your total spending.
Neither method is perfect, but they offer ways to track your Fortnite spending.
Fortnite is available on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
