Kicking off the Naruto: Path of series is Naruto: Konoha Ninpōchō, a 2003 release exclusive to Japan's Bandai WonderSwan Color handheld console. The WonderSwan, itself a system largely confined to Japan, limited this game's reach. The story centers around the Land of Waves arc, but also includes additional missions for Team 7.

Despite the "RPG 2" designation, Naruto RPG 2: Chidori vs. Rasengan is a direct sequel to Naruto: Path of the Ninja. This 2005 Tomy Nintendo DS title remained exclusive to Japan. The storyline follows the Search for Tsunade arc, concluding with Sasuke's escape from Konoha.

Concluding the series is Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2, another Tomy Nintendo DS title. Released in Japan in 2006 and internationally in 2008, this game deviates from the canon storyline, presenting an original narrative featuring the Three Ryūdōin Brothers and a unique Anbu ally character.

These five games, while uniquely titled, collectively form a significant part of the Naruto gaming legacy.
