Garena Teams up with TiMi to Bring Delta Force to Mobile Globally

Garena's Delta Force: A Global Launch and PC Open Beta

Garena is bringing the tactical FPS, formerly known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, to a global audience. A PC Open Beta kicks off December 5th, 2024, with mobile open beta following in 2025. Originally developed by NovaLogic and later acquired by Tencent's TiMi Studios (creators of COD Mobile), the game now sees Garena partnering for its launch in select regions.

Cross-progression between PC and mobile is a key feature. The planned 2025 launch will cover Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa.

Garena's Delta Force Game Modes:

  • Warfare: Large-scale 32v32 combat across land, sea, and air. Players are divided into four-person squads.
  • Operations: A three-person squad extraction shooter mode. Teams scavenge for loot, evade enemies, and fight to reach an extraction point before time runs out. Loot can be used in future matches or exchanged for currency. Players can also acquire enemy gear and supplies. The mode features bosses, restricted areas, and special missions. A rare item, the MandelBrick, unlocks exclusive skins but reveals the player's location to others.

A Nod to the Original:

This new Delta Force iteration boasts sharp, realistic graphics and maintains the tactical gameplay the series is renowned for. Fans of the original 1998 release are sure to find it nostalgic.
