Gold Armor, a returning feature from Modern Warfare 3 Zombies, is a game-changer in Black Ops 6. This upgrade automatically repairs itself over time, significantly improving resource management and survivability against powerful enemies like Amalgams. This guide details how to obtain this invaluable asset on The Tomb map.

Gold Armor's Function:

The Gold Armor Vest functions similarly to its MWZ counterpart. It passively regenerates armor, eliminating the need for constant re-plating, even without armor plates in your inventory. This makes it crucial for conserving resources and ensuring you always have sufficient protection.

Acquiring the Gold Armor Vest:

The process involves several steps:

1. Locate Statue Heads: Find two statue heads located within the Dark Aether Nexus. These spawn inside destructible wooden boxes; use melee attacks to break them open and collect the heads. One box is near a palm tree in a corner of the Nexus (closest to the green Gateway portal), and the other is easily visible near the Juggernog Perk Machine.

   

2. Repair Roman Statues: Take the statue heads to the Dig Site. Place them on the two ruined Roman statues. One is near the Ammo Cache, and the other is closer to the Roman Mausoleum (Pack-a-Punch area).

3. Complete Blood Sacrifices: After placing both heads, interact with the repaired statues to initiate a "Blood Sacrifice." This involves surviving waves of powerful HVTs (High-Value Targets): Shock Mimics and Doppelghasts. The number of HVTs scales with the number of players. This challenge significantly reduces your health to 1 HP, making it crucial to have a Tier 3 vest and ample armor plates beforehand. Strategies for survival include using a Mutant Injection (solo) or a Chopper Gunner (co-op).

   

4. Purchase (Free): Once both Blood Sacrifices are completed, the Gold Armor Vest becomes a free Wall Buy in the Roman Mausoleum.
