After an eagerly anticipated wait, fans of the innovative puzzle game can rejoice as World of Goo (mobile) has returned with a full sequel. 2DBOY and Tomorrow Corporation have launched World of Goo 2 on mobile platforms, alongside releases on Android, Steam, PlayStation 5, and iOS.
A Ton of New Stuff
World of Goo 2 Mobile introduces a plethora of exciting new features, including over 30 additional achievements that players can unlock. A groundbreaking addition for any game developed by 2DBOY or Tomorrow Corporation, the game now includes an options menu for enhanced player customization.
The original World of Goo, which debuted on Windows back in October 2008, challenged players to construct intricate bridges and towers using goo balls, battling the forces of physics and gravity. Now, World of Goo 2 Mobile takes this concept further with realistic flowing, splashing, and viscous liquid mechanics. Players can manipulate this liquid like a river, transform it into Goo Balls, extinguish fires, and tackle a variety of absurd puzzles.
Adding to the game's diversity, World of Goo 2 Mobile introduces new types of Goo such as Jelly Goo, Liquid Launchers, Growing Goo, Shrinking Goo, and Explosive Goo, among others. Exploring the interactions between these unique species promises to be a thrilling experience.

There Are a Lot of Levels to Chew Through in the World of Goo 2 Mobile
The sequel unfolds a new narrative across five chapters, offering over 60 new levels, each with additional challenges. The storyline spans an impressive timeline of hundreds of thousands of years. Players will collaborate with a mysterious company that touts its eco-friendly initiatives, aiming to amass as much Goo as possible. However, there's more beneath the surface, and as players delve deeper, they'll uncover the company's hidden motives.
After all these years, the iconic goo balls are back in action. You can download World of Goo 2 from the Google Play Store, where it is available for $9.99.
