Google Play Store may soon launch a feature to automatically open newly downloaded apps. This potential addition, gleaned from an APK teardown of Play Store version 41.4.19, is currently unconfirmed but reportedly called "App Auto Open."
The Details:
This optional feature would streamline the app installation process. Upon download completion, a notification banner (potentially with sound or vibration) will appear for approximately five seconds, prompting the app to open automatically. This eliminates the need to manually locate and launch the app.
Important Note: This information is based on an APK teardown and is not official. There is no confirmed release date. We will update you with any official announcements from Google.
