Path of Exile 2's Hidden Golden Idols: A Guide to Finding and Selling Them

Path of Exile 2 features numerous quests, some less obvious than others. Act 3 introduces Golden Idols, unique quest items not automatically logged. Unlike typical quest items, these aren't traded with NPCs to advance a questline. Instead, they're valuable sellable items. There are five in total.

Locating the Golden Idols in Path of Exile 2

After exploring the Vaal ruins beneath the Ziggurat Encampment in Act 3 and traveling through a time portal, you'll find yourself in Utzaal (The Drowned City). This location, representing the Vaal civilization at its peak, holds three Golden Idols. Two more are located in the connected area, Aggorat. These idols aren't random enemy drops; they're found on the ground or pedestals, often in side rooms.

Selling Your Golden Idols

Once collected, return to the Ziggurat Encampment and sell the idols to Oswald, located in the north. He's the only vendor who will buy them.

• Golden Idol: 500 Gold
• Grand Idol: 1000 Gold
• Glorious Idol: 1500 Gold
• Elegant Idol: 1000 Gold
• Exceptional Idol: 1500 Gold

Collecting all five yields 6000 Gold. Due to their limited inventory space and sole purpose as high-value items, it's recommended to sell them immediately after discovery.
