Hangry Morpeko Is Coming To Pokémon GO This Halloween!

Pokémon GO's Halloween event: Part 1 details revealed! Niantic has unveiled the spooky details for the first part of the Pokémon GO Halloween event, with a second part promised to follow. Get ready for exciting features and chilling encounters!

The event begins Tuesday, October 22nd, at 10:00 a.m. local time and runs until Monday, October 28th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.

Event Highlights:

• Morpeko Debuts: The Electric/Dark-type Pokémon Morpeko makes its Pokémon GO debut, bringing unique battle mechanics. Its Full Belly and Hangry Modes affect its Aura Wheel attack (Electric in Full Belly Mode, Dark in Hangry Mode), both boasting 100 power and an Attack boost.

• Morpeko Encounters: Encounter Morpeko more frequently in the GO Battle League's premium track during the event. Post-event, it remains available from Rank 16, though still more common in premium battles.

• Festive Atmosphere: Enjoy Halloween-themed decorations and a remix of the classic Lavender Town music playing nightly throughout the event.

• Dynamax Max Battles: Engage in one-star Max Battles featuring Dynamax Gastly, along with Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble.

• Timed Research: A free Timed Research event (October 22nd - November 3rd) focuses on Spiritomb and its 108 spirits. Completing tasks rewards encounters with Halloween Pokémon, including Spiritomb and Morpeko.
