Hazelight

Hazelight Studios has established a unique position in the gaming industry. Their games cleverly utilize a system where only one player needs to purchase the game for two-player cooperative gameplay, a feature not widely replicated by competitors. This innovative approach has allowed Hazelight to create a distinct niche. However, a previous shortcoming—the absence of crossplay—has been addressed.

Excitingly, Split Fiction will feature crossplay functionality, officially confirmed by the developers. The popular Friend's Pass system returns, meaning only one game purchase is needed for two players (though both will require EA accounts).

Further enhancing accessibility, Hazelight has unveiled a playable demo. Players can experience Split Fiction together, and progress made in the demo will carry over to the full game.

Split Fiction promises diverse settings, but its core focuses on the complexities and nuances of human relationships. The game launches March 6th on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
