Hearthstone has kicked off the Year of the Raptor with a myriad of new content

Hearthstone's Year of the Raptor is here, bringing a revitalized competitive scene and exciting new content! This year promises a fresh expansion cycle, a Core Set overhaul, and the return of esports.

Key highlights include:

• Core Set Update: A revamped Core Set featuring returning favorites, crucial balance adjustments, and exciting new cards. Cards with overly disruptive effects, such as excessive burst damage, are being removed to enhance gameplay. Further details will be released soon.

• Esports Resurgence: Get ready for thrilling competition! 2025 will see two Seasonal Championships and a World Championship, boasting a minimum $600,000 prize pool in partnership with Netease Thunderfire. Expect more information on the competitive format shortly.

• Major Arena Update (Patch 32.2): Following the launch of Into the Emerald Dream, a significant Arena update is planned for Patch 32.2. This update will focus on improving the drafting experience and introducing a fresh perspective on the Arena mode.
