Eagle-eyed fans of Helldivers 2 have recently uncovered what appears to be a leak from PlayStation, hinting at an upcoming confrontation with the Illuminate on the streets of Super Earth. This week, developer Arrowhead rolled out the full Illuminate invasion, introducing new enemy types. The in-game narrative suggested that the Illuminate were set on a direct course for Super Earth, and now, a leak from the official Czech Republic PlayStation Threads account indicates that not only will the Illuminate reach our home planet, but players will also have to engage them in battle there.
Redditor xTekshi noticed the now-deleted post, which mentioned a "Heart of Democracy" update scheduled for May 20. Although "Heart of Democracy" has been referenced in the context of this week's update, neither Sony nor Arrowhead have officially confirmed its connection to a May 20 release. The timing of this potential update aligns with the conclusion of the current Major Order, adding credibility to the leak.

Both Sony and Arrowhead have used language that suggests this development is "inevitable," with phrases like "High Command believes this Fleet's ultimate objective to be the invasion of Super Earth itself" and "Battle on Super Earth is inevitable." As a result, fans speculate that the Czech account inadvertently revealed Helldivers 2's next major update, which would involve fighting on Super Earth. If these leaks are accurate, this would mark a significant evolution for the game, which currently features only alien planet maps. Engaging in combat on Super Earth would undoubtedly provide a fresh and unique gaming experience.
