The name "Fugue" for the 5-star character Tingyun in Honkai: Star Rail might seem unusual, as it's not her usual name, even within the game's storyline. However, "fugue" refers to a state of losing one's identity, a fitting description given Tingyun's experience of having her identity stolen by Phantylia.

While Tingyun's survival after the events of the Destruction has been hinted at, her return and recovery from possession have been highly anticipated. The game reveals her recovery process, and subsequently, her introduction as a playable character.

The Honkai: Star Rail (HSR) release date for Fugue (Tingyun) is December 25th, 2024 (local server time). Her banner will run until January 14th, 2025, concluding with Version 2.7. Version 3.0 will follow. This banner features Fugue alongside Firefly, marking Firefly's first rerun.
