Free Fire's Winterlands 2024 Update: Embrace the Chill with New Character and Features

Free Fire joins the winter festivities with its latest Winterlands 2024 update, introducing a fresh character, enhanced movement mechanics, and seasonal events.

The update centers around Koda, a new character with an arctic origin and a mystical fox mask enhancing his abilities. His unique Aurora Vision allows for superior enemy detection, highlighting opponents behind cover (excluding crouching or prone enemies) and revealing enemy locations during parachuting.

A significant addition is Frosty Tracks – ice-covered rails enabling players to swiftly navigate the map while maintaining combat capabilities (shooting, turning, using throwables). Strategically placed Coin Machines along these tracks reward players with 100 FF coins, collectible even while gliding. Frosty Tracks will feature in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes.

The update also introduces Aurora Events in both game modes. Battle Royale features aurora-affected Coin Machines, while Clash Squad includes aurora-affected Supply Gadgets. Completing event quests by interacting with these items provides buffs for the entire team.
