Invincible Season 3: New Voice Actors, Mysterious Villains, and a Growing Sidekick
Prime Video unveiled a stellar voice actor lineup for Invincible: Season 3, including Aaron Paul as Powerplex, John DiMaggio as The Elephant, and Simu Liu as Multi-Paul. The most intriguing additions, however, are Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad) and Doug Bradley (Hellraiser), whose roles remain shrouded in secrecy. This strategic silence likely aims to preserve key plot twists.
Speculation abounds regarding Banks and Bradley's characters. Considering Banks' prowess at portraying hardened villains, Conquest seems a strong contender. This powerful Viltrumite, introduced in Invincible #61, presents a formidable challenge for Mark Grayson, setting the stage for a brutal showdown. Season 2 hinted at this conflict, making it a likely focal point in Season 3.
For Bradley, two compelling possibilities emerge: Dinosaurus, a villain from Invincible #68, whose environmentalist motivations offer a unique perspective; or Grand Regent Thragg, the main antagonist of the Invincible saga (Invincible #11), whose presence would mark a significant development in the series. Bradley's voice would perfectly embody either character's menace.
Another key element of Season 3 is the rapid aging and evolving role of Oliver Grayson, Mark's half-brother. Christian Convery takes over the role, portraying Oliver's transition from toddler to preteen. Oliver's accelerated growth, coupled with his Viltrumite and Thraxa heritage, grants him early access to his powers, leading him to adopt the codename Kid Omni-Man and become a potential ally—and liability—for Invincible.
